Dr Alan Byrne
M.B., M.R.C.P.I., DCH., Dobs., DOH, MSc. (SPORTSMEDICINE)., F.F.S.E.M. Dr Byrne is a founding partner in the practice. He works full time in the practice and has a particular interest in Paediatrics and Cardiology. He is on the Specialist Register of Sports and Exercise Medicine and was the team doctor with the Republic of Ireland soccer team for 19 years until he recently stepped down in September 2022. Dr Byrne now dedicates his time to the FAI Medical Director role. He is a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the Beacon Centre for Orthopaedics, UPMC Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Dublin 18.

Dr Denise Ward (f)
Dr. Denise Ward MB, BCh, BAO, MICGP, DOWH, Dip MSK(ICGP/FSEM) Dr. Denise Ward graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 and completed the South East GP Training Scheme in 2018.
Her special interests include Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Dermatology. She is a Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) tutor with the Irish College of General Practitioners. She removes and inserts both Implanon and Intrauterine Systems.
She recently completed the ICGP Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine and she also holds a diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health.
