From the 1st November 2014 we will no longer be able to accept requests for repeat prescriptions by phone. Patients will be given an order form to fill in and return to the practice. We still require 24 hrs notice for all prescriptions to ensure the doctors have sufficient time to review your chart. We need to introduce this change to reduce any potential risk that could occur whilst accepting phone request. As our clerical staff are not medically trained this safety measure will reduce the risk of errors in ordering medication by phone. This policy is required for all patients. We ask for your cooperation on this matter and hope you understand our reasons for changing policy.
The order form may be dropped into our post box located at the side of the surgery or you can email your completed order form directly to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
